Frequently Asked Questions

We believe in transparent pricing and a hassle-free service. Below are some common questions about our website service.

The total cost is £150 for setup, followed by £25 per month for hosting & maintenance. There are no contracts or hidden fees.

Here’s the breakdown:
✔️ Payment 1: £50 (Non-Refundable) – Covers domain registration + secure hosting setup
✔️ Payment 2: £100 – Website setup & design
✔️ Payment 3: £25/month – Covers monthly hosting + maintenance

This fee is non-refundable because once the payment is made, the domain and secure hosting are registered and cannot be canceled or refunded.

If you need any content updates or changes, the cost is £25 per hour. Most small updates can be completed within an hour, but you’ll receive a quote upfront before any work begins.

The £25/month fee includes:
✔️ Secure website hosting to keep your site online
✔️ Basic website maintenance, including:

  • WordPress plugin & theme updates
  • Security updates to protect your site
✔️ Domain name renewal (a portion of this fee contributes to the yearly domain cost)

For payments, I offer secure and flexible options:
✔️ Bank Transfer (Preferred Method) – Secure & avoids extra fees
✔️ GoCardless – A simple and secure online payment method

I aim to have your website fully set up and live within 14 working days. This includes domain registration, hosting setup, website design, and basic content integration.

If a monthly payment is missed, no updates or maintenance will be performed on your website. Over time, this may lead to security risks, outdated plugins, or website errors.

If payments are not made for an extended period, your hosting service may be suspended, which could take your website offline.

No, the £25/month fee includes the yearly domain renewal.

However, if you stop paying the monthly fee, you will need to cover the domain renewal cost separately. Failure to renew your domain could result in your website going offline, and you may lose the domain name permanently if someone else registers it.

A domain name is your website’s address on the internet.

For example: VWGWebsites.com is a domain name. It’s what people type in their browser to find your website.

I will do my best to secure a domain name that matches your business, but domain names are unique, meaning each one can only be owned by one person at a time.

If your preferred domain name is already taken, I’ll provide alternative options or slight variations to help you find the best available match for your business.
